Love Island fans react as Irish girl Maura Higgins causes massive drama on debut

Love Island fans lost it last night over Irish woman Maura Higgins' dramatic entrance.

Viewers hailed the Co Longford woman as a "bad b****" as she announced her arrival in dramatic fashion.

Despite the villa's other girls heckling her during dates with Tommy Fury and Michael Griffiths, Maura rolled her eyes and hit back by teasingly feeding Michael from her fork.

Before this she sparked Molly-Mae's ire by flirting with Tommy Fury in a ballsy move that fans are acclaiming.

Wearing a jacket she borrowed from Molly-Mae, the midlands girl attempted to turn Tommy's head as she calmly laid her cards on the table.

This led Molly-Mae to explode at Tommy in a rage.

Another tweeted: "Massive round of applause for maura really walking in and single handedly saving this series #LoveIsland."

While another commented: "But if he wants me, what am I going to do” LOOOOOL oh Maura #loveisland."
