Love Island fans think Gemma and Luca have already split thanks to tell-tale sign

Love Island may be over for another series but fans are still obsessed with the couples and whether their blossoming relationships will survive in the real world.

Eagle-eyed viewers have already spotted some major signs Gemma Owen and Luca Bish may be ready to break up - with one fan even jokingly claiming they look just like Princess Diana and Prince Charles did looked weeks before their split in 1992.

Some fans even suspect Michael Owen's daughter and the fishmonger from Brighton have already called it quits, before even getting on the plane home and returning to England, thanks to some telling signs during last night's final.

Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned this year's winning couple during last night's [August 1] live final, after a drama-filled summer of love in the Spanish Villa.

The final – which aired on ITV2 live from the villa - saw the pair's tumultuous and drama-soaked journey end in glee as they jumped with joy when host Laura Whitmore announced they had won £50k.

The fan favourites beat off competition from runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, who finished third and fourth respectively, to win the public's affections last night.

While viewers on social media have been celebrating the Turkish actress and Italian business owner's victory, many have also been predicting which couple may not even last beyond the plane ride home to the U.K.

Discussing Gemma and Luca's body language throughout the final on social media, one fan tweeted: "Why does Gemma always look like she is in a hostage situation?"

"Gemma looks FED UP," another mused, with a third adding: "Gemma looks like she doesn't want to be here lol."

"Can’t wait for Gemma to dump Luca within a week out the villa I know who I voted for #LoveIsland," was a sentiment shared by many others after the final results were announced by host Laura.

"I give Gemma and Luca 12 hours before they split up #LoveIsland," one viewer tweeted last night, with another agreeing with: "Have Gemma and Luca split up yet? Doubt they make it back to the UK still together. #LoveIsland."

"You already know Luca and Gemma split up the second cameras stopped rolling #LoveIsland," one Twitter used predicted online, with another adding: "Waiting for the breakup announcement that gemma and luca are going to post after she runs from his ass when the cameras finally turn off."

Others noted how whoever is looking after Gemma's Instagram account has been posting solo snaps of the star, with one writing: "Anyone else think Gemma’s said something off camera about Luca to her family because why is theres [sic] 0 pics of him since the meet the parents.

"No mention of him on her caption - no stories nothing. Team Gemma instead of Lemma #LoveIsland."

One cheeky fan even captioned a snap of the couple looking stony-faced: "This is how Diana and Charles were looking like before they divorced."

During the final episode of Love Island last night, Michael Owen's teenage daughter and the fishmonger from Brighton discussed their future during a romantic lunch.

"Do you think we'll have any massive challenges on the outside?" Gemma asked her beau as they prepared to leave the villa.

Luca replied: "I don't think there will be. I'm hoping there won't be."

Dressage star Gemma went on to admit she felt the pair hadn't "had as many tests as others", with Luca hitting back with: "No, but I think that's because we felt so strongly about each other so quickly."

"We do bicker a lot," Gemma continued during the candid chat about their future together.

"Bicker? It's not bickering. We wind each other up," a surprised Luca replied.

Gemma agreed: "Yeah, we wind each other up and we both love it."

The couple's conversation came just days after Love Island legend Molly-Mae Hague weighed in on their relationship - pondering whether Gemma and "Luca's love language acting like they hate each other".
