Love Island viewers have predicted producers are going to send Connor Durman home in a "fixed" dumping to protect Sophie Piper.
The pair found themselves in the bottom two after the public vote and it means one of them now faces going home.
The dumping sparked a Twitter frenzy as baffled fans tried to work out how such a strong couple ended up with the least amount of votes.
Some speculated that it is producers' way of freeing Sophie from an increasingly toxic pairing, after Connor's previous outbursts of jealousy in the villa.
Others guessed the public have deliberately voted Connor out as they like Sophie more than him.

One tweeted: "The public knows Sophie is scared. The other people in the vila know if too... and they will remove Connor so Sophie can breathe."
Another wrote: "We all know Connor is goin home, girls will all pick sophie and Mike and Nas have a good relationship with her.
"Sophie is FREEEE, YOU are free #LoveIsland."
In response to a tweet from the Love Island account asking for predictions about who will go, one viewer replied: "It doesn't matter, producers sending Connor home."

Another added: "Nas and Jess over Sophie and Connor? Get outta here. So rigged #LoveIsland
The bottom two was decided by a public vote but it will be up to the Islanders to choose who stays and who goes.
The decision will be announced in tonight's show.

Last night's episode was full of drama as host Laura Whitmore made a surprise appearance to announce the shock dumping.
She revealed the public had been asked to choose their favourite couples, leaving the pair with the least amount of votes vulnerable.
It was then revealed that Sophie and Connor had come in last, and Laura then added the bombshell twist.
She added: "But only one of you will leave the villa. And that decision is down to your fellow Islanders."
