Love Island fans pray on downfall of one couple as Casa Amor twist announced

It's the twist Love Island fans have been waiting for - Casa Amor is finally coming back. In the final moments of tonight's episode (February 10), narrator Iain Sterling teased the return of the pot-stirring device that often tears couples apart.

The latest instalment of the ITV2 reality show saw the islanders gather around the fire pit for a shock dumping. Bombshells Ellie Spence and Jordan Odofin said their goodbyes after viewers decided to give them the boot the day after Jordan dumped Tanyel Revan for Ellie, causing the London hair stylist to be removed from the villa.

After tonight's episode saw tension erupt between day one couple Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, it's no doubt that a number of this year's islanders being moved to Casa Amor will cause problems for other couples. Relationships are put to the ultimate test during Casa Amor, as contestants often end up falling for sexy newcomers whilst they are separated from their partners.

Viewers are often left on the edge of their seats when the islanders return to the main villa after Casa Amor, as it is revealed whether they were able to stay loyal to their original partners. Hearts have been broken in the past when contestants have come back to the villa with a fresh flame, only to find out that their partner did not stray during their separation.

Shortly before the credits rolled at the end of tonight's episode, Iain Sterling dramatically teased fans . He announced: "Sunday night... it's time... for Casa Amor!"

Love Island 2021 star Faye Winter famously went on a swearing rampage in the villa after seeing Teddy Soares in Casa Amor (ITV)

A source told The Sun earlier this week: "Casa Amor starts filming this weekend and then viewers will see the explosive fall out this week."

Ahead of the plot twist in events, fans have been praying on the downfall of one couple. Viewers have been left particularly annoyed by Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, especially after Lana sparked fury by "using" Casey by coupling up with him despite wanting to be with Ron.

Love Island returns at 9pm on Sunday, February 12 on ITV2 and ITVX.
