Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford has only just snogged Brad McClelland but is already getting “the ick” - with fans thinking the Geordie has been “love-bombing” her.
Love-bombing is a coin termed for those who are quick to shower their potential other half with promises of romance and affection quickly into their relationship.
Over the past couple of episodes, Brad has made no secret of his interest in new girl Lucinda, promising that he’s marriage material, a cook around the house, and only interested in relationships rather than flings.
It seemed to work too - until the pair shared a snog and Lucinda began to second guess Brad’s motives.

She was later seen talking to Faye Winter, who had also previously tried things with Brad, and admitted she feels like she’s “being sold a dream”.
Faye, who had also previously tried to make a connection with Brad, warned Lucinda he was the type of guy to “talk at you rather than with you” and said: “It's a conver-me-sation not a conv-us-ation."
When asked if Brad “even knew anything about her”, Lucinda admitted he probably didn’t, explaining: “Not really sure to be honest - but he's beautiful, he's stunning... but it's one of those."
"I really regret snogging him,” she admitted, saying she “got greedy” - and that the kiss felt more like something from a night out than the start of something special.

Viewers were actually pretty pleased to see Lucinda second guessing her romance with Brad, after watching him laying it on thick so soon after ditching Rachel Finni, whom he’s currently still coupled up with.
"Brad is lovebombing, over and over and over, and the girls are finally catching him out!” wrote one fan on Twitter.
A second wrote: "Brad has extremely toxic energy like... what's with the lovebombing?"
While a third posted a list of signs of ‘love bombing’ and asked: “If the [ Love Island ] producers could just pass this on to Lucinda…k thanks”

Signs include “acting like they’re your saviour”, “giving superficial affection” and “approaching relationship milestones at a blistering pace”.
Brad has already tried his luck with three of the girls in the villa - partnering up with Faye Winter before flirting with Chloe Burrows.
He was then saved by Rachel Fenni when he was left single at the last recoupling. Her decision meant that bucket hat salesman Chuggs Wallis was sent home instead of him.

Since then he seemed to be trying to make a romance with Rachel work - until Lucinda arrived with Millie Court and sent several couples into a tailspin with a three-course date.
Aaron Francis, who was coupled with Sharon Gaffka, even dumped her because he was interested in one of the new girls, only to return to her when he realised they had both started flirtations with the other boys.
Tonight, the boys are in charge of the next recoupling, with the girl who remains single at the end of the episode being dumped completely from the island.
With the arrival of new boy Terry, and Lucinda and Millie still technically single, all the original members of the gang need to get their graft on in order to fight for their spot on the show.
Following Brad’s behaviour, will Lucinda put a dampner on their potential romance before the ceremony? Or will she give him another chance?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
