Love Island fans praise 'dangerous' new Islander for finally getting season started

It was another dramatic episode of Love Island as tensions erupted on tonight's show.

Three new contestants arrived on yesterday's edition of the popular ITV2 show - which has thrown the dynamic between the contestants into disarray.

Toby Aromolaran sparked outrage in the villa when he dumped Kaz Kamwi for University of Liverpool alumni Chloe Burrows earlier in the season - and he now finds himself at the centre of another controversy as he caught the eye of new Islander Abigail Rawlings.

The 27-year-old from Beaconsfield set her sights on the semi-professional footballer even though he is already coupled up with Chloe.

Chloe felt disrespected by how Toby linked the new Islander's arm and refused to say that he is not interested in getting to know her - with Toby admitting later in the episode that Abigail is "dangerous".

Abigail directly stated that Chloe was getting a taste of her own medicine after the manner in which Chloe and Toby got together - and fans of the show took to Twitter to praise her straight-up approach.

Gaby said: "Abi went to have that chat just to rub salt in the wound. She’s a vixen and I love her #LoveIsland"

Lauren tweeted: "Abi is just what this season needed, cause that drama gal #LoveIsland"

AJ commented: "I’m so here for this chaos from abi , let the romance of Toby and Chloe burrrnnnn #LoveIsland"

Jane added: "Abigail knows exactly how to play this game. Finally #LoveIsland has started."

Josh said: "#loveIsland has finally started. This is drama that we’ve needed"

The episode ended in explosive style as Toby decided to recouple with Abigail in the final section of the show, but Chloe was saved from exiting the Villa when she coupled up with Hugo.

Love Island continues on Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
