Love Island fans 'obsessed' with new pairing after last night's recoupling

Last night's Love Island recoupling saw Rachel’s time come to an end after new contestant, Teddy Soares, chose to couple up with Faye.

Following the reshuffe, it seems viewers are obsessed with one new coupling.

Among the obvious outcomes was Jake and Liberty who have been together since entering the show, with Jake hilariously describing her as ‘me with a wig on’.

Toby then decided to dump Kaz after getting closer to Chloe over the last few days and Brad, who was still coupled up with Rachel, chose Lucinda.

There were also no surprises when Liam, who was already coupled up with Faye, chose to go in another direction after getting to know Millie when she entered the villa.

Although each couple has droves of fans at home rooting them on, one particular pairing has got viewers talking after last night’s switch up.

Kaz and Aaron seem to be the new favourites, after he decided to save her from elimination and give her the chance to meet new people while in a ‘friendship couple’.

After Aaron revealed how close the pair were as friends, viewers were raging they hadn’t noticed it on the show so far, with one writing: ‘Why have the producers been hiding this Aaron and Kaz friendship from us ????’

Another said: ‘Kaz and Aaron are best buds??? Love Island show us this, why are you hiding this for unseen bits!’

Meanwhile, it seems the new couple is becoming fast favourites online among viewers, with droves of them voicing their excitement after last night’s show.

One said: ‘I’m voting for Kaz and Aaron from every device...obsessed #LoveIsland’.

Another wrote: ‘As a collective, we should just vote Kaz and Aaron to keep them in #LoveIsland’, and a third said, ‘I voted for Kaz and Aaron before he finished speaking!'

Meanwhile, Hugo also chose a friend to couple up with, deciding to go back with Sharon so the pair can find love later on.

  • Love Island returns tonight at 9:00 pm on ITV and Virgin Media.
