Love Island fans notice the final may be different this year

Love Island fans have noticed that there may be fewer couples in the final this series.

Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish have reportedly left the villa after breaking up.

This means that there are just four couples left now, rather than the usual five.

There would usually be a couple leaving over the weekend meaning four would be in the final but if this happens there will just be three couples left.

One person tweeted: "Omg there’s gonna be 3 couples in the final this year I think #LoveIsland"

Another said: "Guys what if this year they do 3 couples in the final #LoveIsland"

Liberty and Jake decided to leave after being coupled up from the first show and also being the first official couple of the series.

They hit some bumps in the road after other islanders pointed out that he might not feel as strongly about the relationship as Liberty did.

In Thursday's programme Liberty got upset after having taking selfies with Jake and he said it was 'all about' her.

Faye Winter ran after Liberty whilst she was crying despite falling out earlier in the week.

Friday's show will also show Jake and Liberty head out on their final date which could be where they discuss what to do.

They then return to the villa and ask the other islanders to gather around the fire pit where they have an announcement.
