Love Island fans left concerned for Anton after gross recoupling confession

Love Island 2019 viewers were a little confused as islander Anton Danyluk appeared to suffer a misunderstanding, leading to a gross confession.

The islander was saved by Amber Gill in the first recoupling of the series, leading to Callum Macleod being dumped from the villa.

But it was his reaction to the news that left fans absolutely stunned and a little grossed out.

Anton headed for the Beach Hut, and quickly admitted the situation was terrifying as it unfolded.

It’s then that he claimed he’d “literally s**t himself” during the tense moment.

Obviously, the word literally means something that happened exactly, and something true.

While the phrase is often thrown around, it still needs to have some truth.

Anton was obviously speaking metaphorically in terms of his level of fear over the potential of leaving the villa there and then.

But by saying “literally”, he left fans and voiceover Iain Stirling wondering if he’d really had a little accident in his white trousers.

One viewer tweeted: “Literally hoping Anton doesn’t mean literally.”

Another said: “I think Anton might literally need some new trousers.”

A third tweeted: “Anton babe you're wearing white... I truly hope u weren't LITERALLY s**tting yourself.”

This was echoed by another fan who said: “Anton was “literally” s**tting himself???”

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
