Love Island viewers were left devastated as Faye Winter dumped Teddy over the manipulated postcard sent to the girls.
As she stood up, Faye declared that she wanted to recouple after seeing the postcard of Teddy kissing another girl.
Opening about what their relationship had been like before Casa Amor, Faye said: "It was good, as everyone knows, it takes a lot of time to let my guard down."
Speaking about what it had been like after she received the postcard, she said "The girl I'd been working so hard on was closed down again."
After recoupling with Sam, Teddy walked in alone with the stuffed bear she had given him.
And viewers were left heartbroken, with one tweeting: "Okay but I’m crying for teddy #loveisland."
While another commented: "I nearly cried for teddy #loveisland."
Earlier in the week, fuming viewers complained to Ofcom after accusing bosses of "stitching up" Teddy with the postcard.
The girls had been left horrified after the card had been delivered to their door and showed the guys making out with the girls in Casa Amor.
Among those shown was Teddy, who kissed a girl during the first ice breaker challenge of truth or dare.
Afterwards, however, Teddy remained loyal to Faye and continued to sleep outside with Jake while the other men shared beds with the girls.
Liam, who had been getting very close with Lillie, was just seen sleeping in a bed next to her.
Once Faye saw the photo, she was in floods of tears before declaring that she would be speaking to other guys in the villa.
Upset fans took to Twitter, with one writing: "Brb, just ringing off ofcom to report the producers for ruining Teddy and Faye #LoveIsland."
While another commented: "I love that Ofcom and Teddy are trending. Justice for Teddy must be done. This man deserves the very best. #loveIsland."
A third wrote: "two part recoupling because they got so many ofcom complaints about faye and teddy they had to tell her he was loyal the whole time, am calling it #LoveIsland."
Faye went on to get to know Sam and the pair ended up sharing a bed after she had spent the previous days outside alone.
The day afterwards, Sam admitted: "When I woke up this morning, I was like I did not know I could be in this situation.”
