Love Island fans have called out Lucie Donlan for what appears to be a 'tanning fail'.
Cornish surfer Lucie is still reeling from the dumping of her partner in the ITV2 dating show, leaving her single in the villa and wondering what her next move should be.
There has been much heartache for Lucie since Joe Garratt was voted off and some fans thought that she might walk out after him, to pursue their romance in the real world.
She was pretty much talked out of leaving by the remaining girls but there was an issue that viewers couldn't help but point out, after Lucie decided to retire to her bed for some alone time.
With her head peering from beneath the covers, viewers at home were quick to point out how 'orange' Lucie's face had become and started speculating about what had happened to her.
It started with one fan tweeting: "Lucie hun what’s on your face"
Then more concerned viewers started pitching in with their thoughts and concerns about Lucie's 'condition'.
Taking to Twitter , one fan wrote: "Is Lucie sunburnt??? Omds. Her face. # LoveIsland"
Another asked if Lucie had been otherwise employed in the villa: "Has Lucie been sweeping chimneys?!!!!!? Why is her face black and sooty?! Is it Bronzer???!!! #LoveIsland"
This became a theme, with another asking: "Why was Lucie’s face looking so ashy? nah the looks soooo wild # loveisland"
Another asked: "Why does Lucie look like her face is full of dust # LoveIsland"
It could be that Lucie putting a brave face on the exit of Joe has meant that she is trying to fade into the background behind her make-up?
Alternatively, spending most of the day with tears in her eyes has meant that she hasn't been able to focus on the task in hand when it came to the finer touches.
What is for certain, Lucie is going to have bigger decision than how much bronzer to apply, in the coming days.
