Love Island fans in hysterics at Edinburgh comedian Iain Stirling’s Covid nickname for Hugo

Love Island viewers were left in stitches at Iain Stirling's latest joke during one of his iconic villa voiceovers.

Despite being on this season from day one, contestant Hugo Hammond has struggled to form a connection.

He recently coupled up with Chloe Burrows after she was dumped by Toby, but the blonde quickly made it clear that she just saw Hugo as a mate.

In the latest episode, the boys are taken out of the main villa to be tempted by six stunning singles in Casa Amor.

No one was happier about the ‘boys holiday’ than Hugo who is the only contestant in a friendship couple.

But Edinburgh comedian and narrator Iain was quick to make a joke about Hugo’s singleness which lefts fans in hysterics.

He nicknamed Hugo ‘Track and Trace,’ "because as soon as you spend time in his company you have to go home alone."

The Mirror reports how fans of the show raced to Twitter to comment on the witty remark as one person said: "Hugo being described as Track and Trace is the funniest thing I’ve heard all year - you legend."
