Love Island fans in hysterics as Callum thinks twins Eve and Jess are different ages

Love Island viewers couldn't contain themselves this week, as Callum Jones made a blunder while getting to know identical twin sisters Jess and Eve Gale.

The siblings triggered drama in the villa as they stole two guys from the original girls.

Eve paired up with Callum, stealing him from Shaughna Phillips, while Jess chose Mike Boateng who had been with Leanne Amaning.

But ahead of the recoupling twist and fears of a looming dumping from the villa, fans couldn't get over one baffling moment.

It came as Callum got to know each twin, asking them questions separately.

But fans were stunned when Callum asked each sister how old they were, even appearing surprised to learn they were the same age.

He had asked one of the twins what their age was, and soon after asked the other.

Taking to Twitter , fans admitted they were in hysterics over the blunder.

One fan said: "When the only guy (Callum - who looks like a younger Ryan Giggs) you find attractive on #LoveIsland, just asked a twin if she was the same age as her twin. Nah!"

Another said: "Why did Callum individually ask the TWINS how old they are then proceed to act shocked they’re the same age."

A third tweeted: "Why did Callum ask one of the twins how old she is... and then ask the same question to the other twin?"

This was echoed by another fan who said: "Callum asked one of the twins how old she was and then asked the other."

Meanwhile, the girls were left furious over the twins' decisions to steal Mike and Callum.

They were soon told via text that the game wasn't over for the newly single girls, and they still had a chance to get their men back.

A teaser for the next episode hinted the villa would erupt, as the twins clash with the other girls.

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
