Love Island fans were left cringing after newcomer Amy Day blanked Hugo Hammond's compliment.
Despite being an original islander, 24-year-old P.E teacher Hugo hasn't yet made a romantic connection with any of the girls in the main villa.

The next day, as he spotted her making her way to the garden in an orange dress, he was blown away, and said: "A little orange number!"

Viewers couldn't stop cringing at the awkward moment, with many taking to Twitter to comment on it.
One person said: "AMY PRETENDED TO BE DEAF WHEN HUGO CATCALLED HER ABOUT THE 'LITTLE ORANGE NUMBER' I AM LEVITATING."
Another wrote: "The way Amy completely blank Hugo was too much. Omg."
"Second hand embarrassed for Hugo when Amy ignored him. That was a VIOLATION!" said a third.
While someone else put: "No, the producers are rude for including Hugo getting aired like that."
Earlier in the episode, Hugo pulled Amy for a chat by the pool where they discussed what she likes doing in her spare time, and his career as a teacher.
But the conversation quickly turned awkward...
