Love Island fans have major issue with Craig David going into villa on Sunday

Love Island fans have a major issue with Craig David entering the villa on a Sunday.

The Islanders get a shock when they discover the 38-year-old rapper is providing their entertainment for the evening.

Craig is on the DJ decks for the Ministry of Sound party - with his appearance being teased at the end of Friday night's show.

After a tense week, involving that explosive recoupling after Casa Amor, it's time for everyone to let their hair down and enjoy his set.

But Love Island viewers are a bit confused as to why Craig has turned up to the villa on a Sunday.

According to the lyrics of his hit song Seven Days, Craig should have been doing something else on the final day of the week.

After meeting a girl on Monday, taking her for a drink on Tuesday, making love from Wednesday to Saturday, he should have "chilled on Sunday".

Love Island fans took to Twitter to question why Craig was going in on a Sunday.

One viewer said: "Craig David going in the villa on a Sunday, which is ironic as that’s the day he usually chills."

"Just caught up on last night’s #LoveIsland... CRAIG DAVID?! I thought he chilled on Sunday," added another.

A third asked: "Craig David?? Shouldn’t he be chilling on Sunday?"

"So Craig David is hitting the island to hit some beats! Surely he knows its chilled on Sunday," said a fourth.

Craig has urged fans to be nice to the Islanders as he looks to relieve the tension in the villa.

Taking to Instagram shortly before entering the villa, Craig said: "These are real people in there. It's real to people."

He added: "So just be mindful as always. Be mindful that these are human beings. They can be fragile."

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
