Love Island 2019 fans are furious that Yewande Biala was picked last in the first coupling.
Angry viewers have slammed the boys for failing to couple up with the Irish scientist, who works 60 hours a week helping to find a cure for cancer
The 23-year-old was the final girl to get a partner when she was left with firefighter Michael Griffiths.
Yewande, who went to university to study biotechnology at the age of 16, didn't step forward for all of the boys and wasn't massively attracted to any of them.
She admitted Michael wasn't her usual type, so was pleasantly surprised when she found out he studied biomedical science.
Love Island viewers rushed to Twitter after watching the first coupling.
One fan said: "Yewande trying to cure cancer and going to uni at 16 but being picked last?? God I hope the boys realise the mistake they have made"
"The fact no-one stepped forward for cancer fighting, life saving Yewande is a travesty. Gaelic Queen," added another.
A third said: "Yewande, Dublin girlo, casually starting college at 16 and curing cancer for a living. We stan"
Yewande was very surprised when she found out about Michael's education.
The pair headed to the side of the pool for a private chat after being coupled up.
Speaking in the beach hut, she said: 'I was so shocked to find out he was a scientist as well. It was interesting talking to someone who shares the same interests as you. He’s different. I wouldn’t usually go for him but he’s surprising."
Speaking before she went in the villa, Yewande said: "I'm a scientist, which is a unique job. I think people may be surprised. Every time I say that I'm a scientist, people are shocked. I think there are loads of intelligent people on reality television, last year we had Dr Alex and the year before we had Camilla Thurlow in the villa.
"I am easy to get along with, I’m funny and caring. But I talk too much, I never stop talking and it gets me in trouble sometimes. I’m a tad dramatic and I can be lazy.
"I would give myself a 6.5 to a 7. I always get complimented on my smile."
