Love Island fans fuming Millie split £50k with Liam after Casa Amor betrayal

Last night's Love Island final saw Millie Court and Liam Reardon crowned as the winners, beating off competition from Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran.

As with every other Love Island finale, the loved-up couple were handed an envelope each - one of which contained the £50,000 prize fund, while the other contained nothing.

Fans were thrilled to discover that 24-year-old Millie, who has been a firm favourite since she stepped into the villa, had been handed the whopping prize fund, meaning she had an important decision to make.

Millie could choose to split the £50,000 with Liam, who became public enemy number one when he cheated in Casa Amor with Lillie Haynes, or she could keep the whole lot for herself.

But, while there's no doubt Liam managed to put the graft in and redeem himself, both in the eyes of Millie and the public, many fans were left fuming she didn't throw the ultimate curve ball and keep the cash for herself as savage revenge for his Casa Amor betrayal.

One fan tweeted: "Really wanted Millie to steal and say ‘that’s for Lillie you p****'," while another added: "A wee bit of me wanted Millie to steal the money there Rolling on the floor laughing as revenge for Casa Amor."

"Can’t believe Millie didn’t steal the money. Should have played the long game hun," a third added.

It has been a bumpy road for the loved-up couple, but it seems like they're willing to go the extra mile to make their relationship work on the outside, after Liam's sister Niamh Reardon told press her brother would "definitely" be moving from his native Wales to Essex in order to be with Millie.

"Liam, I don’t think he was ever going to settle in Merthyr anyways, so I think it’s just easier for him to go up closer to Millie," she told Capital South Wales FM.

"He’s got loads of friends around the Essex and London area anyway, so I just think, it’s just easier for him to go."

Earlier, viewers were left flabbergasted after Kaz and Tyler came fourth in the public vote, followed by Faye and Teddy who came third.

That left Chloe and Toby and Millie and Liam, who opened up about their journeys on the show.

"I always thought Toby was fit but i thought he was a bit young," Chloe admitted. "I never connected with any of the guys in Casa Amor like Toby."

While Toby confessed: "First time I saw Chloe I thought she was beautiful but I had to see where my head was at.

"My head was turned but challenges come here and there and you just have to deal with them."
