Love Island fans fume as they're 'robbed' of savage Casa Amor twist as recoupling begins

Some Love Island fans have been left annoyed after realising the ITV2 series has ditched a savage twist from the show.

Casa Amor is coming to an end, and the latest episode will see host Laura Whitmore enter the main villa to begin 'stick or twist' proceedings.

But some viewers believe Casa Amor has been "cut short", after noticing a usual and brutal element has not happened.

Neither villa has been sent a postcard exposing the 'cheating' antics of the boys or the girls to their original partners.

Normally, a postcard containing images of Islanders kissing bombshells and sharing a bed with them is sent to the main villa, and it often causes upset.

This won't happen this year, and instead it will go straight to the recoupling.

Some fans wondered if it was because of how much upset it caused in the last series, leading to Ofcom complaints.

It has been ditched once before too before returning last series, and some viewers are thinking producers are saving all the juicy content for Movie Night instead.

Either way, some viewers are not happy about it given how much the boys have had their heads turned this series.

Only one of the girls, Tasha, has really done anything dramatic in Casa Amor, while almost all of the boys have 'cheated' over in the main villa.

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their outrage over the missing postcard, realising the girls would not be warned before making their choices.

One viewer said: "my head is already hurting. no postcards? casa cut short, very messy."

Another asked: "Wait, does this mean there will be no postcard ? no heads up? Just the girls being left solo and shocked once their partners walk in with new birds??!"

A third said: "So no postcard this year?" which was echoed by a fourth viewer who tweeted: "we were ROBBED of postcard saga what the f**k."

Comments kept on coming in, with another reading: "WHERE IS THE POSTCARD?"

Others were happy though, as they believed it was likely to increase the drama and the shock of the girls returning to find their boys had moved on.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
