Love Island fans fume as Faye says ‘Hugo who?’ and ditches him for newbie Liam

Love Island babe Faye made it crystal clear that she has no interest in Hugo on Friday night’s instalment of the ITV dating show.

Eagle-eyed fans were hoping that the blonde bombshell would pursue a romantic connection with 24-year-old teacher Hugo after she set her sights on him following a bust-up with her partner, Brad earlier on in the week.

Despite telling Hugo that she’d like to ‘get to know him’ and ‘see where things go’ between them, after Brad admitted that he no longer had an interest in anything romantic with her, Faye stunned audiences with her ‘calculated’ moves.

After building Hugo up with hope, she quickly dismissed him after newbie Liam stormed through the villa’s doors and took her on a hot date.

Following their romantic get-together, Faye and Liam walked back to their fellow islanders' hand-in-hand – much to Hugo’s surprise.

Then, while catching the other girls up on her date with Liam, Faye made a savage dig at Hugo.

Fellow islander Sharon quizzed Faye on what her intentions were with Hugo going forward.

To which Faye replied: “Hugo who? I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

Following her savage confession, Faye pulled Hugo for a chat and continued to shock viewers as she told him that she would still like to get to know him, but she has to ‘sleep on it’ first.

Furious viewers flocked to Twitter to slam the reality star, as they branded her actions ‘calculated’ and ‘two-faced’.

“Faye couldn’t be any more two-faced if she tried. Poor Hugo,” shared one unimpressed viewer.

“I feel sooooo sorry for Hugo. Imagine his family watching Faye just say ‘Hugo who?’ so disrespectful,” another fumed.

“God Faye has been so calculated. I have a feeling Hugo is going to be dumped from the island. I don’t want him to go,” someone else complained.

“Could Faye not just be honest with Hugo though? I mean, she hasn’t even given him a chance. Make your mind up love,” a fourth viewer wrote.

Meanwhile, another fan quipped: “Faye changes her mind like the weather. Not a fan of her being so mean about poor Hugo. He’s lovely like.”
