Love Island viewers were reaching for the mute button during Tuesday's episode.
TV fans struggled to listen to Paige Turley as she continued to scream when Shaughna Phillips was picked for a date with new lad Jamie Clayton.
Unable to contain her excitement, after her recently heartbroke pal received the invitation text, Paige yelped at the top of her lungs.
She then continued to "screech" and "squeal" as Shaughna got dressed for her date and viewers thought it was unhuman.
One irritated fan wrote: "Time to get the mute button ready. paige's squeal, kissing noises."
"Absolutely love Paige but that harrowing screech she does goes right through me" and " Paige’s scream hurts my ears how can a human make that sound" wrote some.
Others added: "paige squeals like a f**kin pig omg" and "Think Paige could break glass with that scream."
"When Paige screams my soul actually leaves my bod," added another.
Shaughna's date got off to a questionable start as the pair immediately started discussing what happened with her ex Callum.
The scaffolder's name was not far from Shaughna's lips as she quizzed Jamie: "Have you ever considered being a scaffolder? Are you related to any scaffolders."
Jamie replied no and told Shaughna that after seeing the Casa Amor fallout he's planning to confront Callum about his antics when he enters the main villa.
"I think Nas went about things the right way. I think what Callum did was a bit out of order. My plans when I go in are to talk to him… I think you’re too smart for him if I’m going to be honest," he said to Shaughna.
Shaughna then admitted that after a rough few days she's convinced the Manchester lad has done her a favour by leaving her for Molly - to which Jamie agreed.
After their date, Jamie wasn't on his own for too long as Demi arrived to take Shaughna's place at the table.
