Love Island fans flock to airport to greet show finalists on return to UK

Love Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were greeted by fans and family members as they touched down in the UK after their triumph in the Majorca villa.

The £50,000 prize-winning winning couple arrived back home hand-in-hand along with fellow finalists Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, India Reynolds, Ovie Soko, Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard.

Fans waited at Stansted Ariport in the hope of seeing the finalists from the hit ITV2 show, Cambridge Live reports.

A video taken at the gate shows the groups of fans cheering and screaming as the final eight contestants walked through the doors this morning.

The airport was packed with admirers, including friends and family, holding up banners and cheering as the Islanders stepped through the arrival gates.

Amber's family huddled with fellow champion Greg's childhood friends, who waved an Irish flag and chanted the rugby player's name.
