Love Island fans fear for Danica as she is rejected again as Josh 'moves on'

Love Island fans are growing increasingly concerned for Danica Taylor - after she was rejected once more.

Viewers watching the ITV2 show have called for help and support for the 21-year-old dancer from Leicester, as new boy Josh Samuel Le Grove - who hails from Essex - admitted he felt the pair of them had lost the spark.

During a frank chat during tonight's show, Josh confessed to Danica that he needed to talk to her about where his head is at - as he admitted things were "tricky" and he wasn't sure how things felt for him going forward.

In tonight's show, he admitted to her the spark wasn't there for him, as he said: "It’s just a tricky one for me, because I don’t know whether that spark for it to go to the next level is there at this present moment."

"I think for me, in Casa, I definitely thought there was something there. I feel like the momentum was lost when we came here, which I’m not gonna lie is upsetting because I really do think we matched quite well and we were actually getting on in Casa," she told him, before asking what he wanted for the pair of them moving forward.

Now fans are concerned for Danica's wellbeing - as this will be one in a long string of rejections for her.

One fan wrote: "genuinely don’t know why everyone she’s showed an interest in has pied Danica wtf like she stunning and seems nice ?? #loveisland," as a second added: "Send someone in for Danica, she deserves better #LoveIsland."

"Not sure why Danica is struggling so much. Poor sis has really grafted she deserves a break #LoveIsland," a third penned, with a fourth writing: "danica seems like a lovely girl which is why i want her to go home bc she doesn’t deserve this relentless rejection."

Love Island have strict policies in place to ensure the mental health and wellbeing of their contestants, and Islanders are given support before, during and after their journey on the ITV2 show.

But now Josh appears to be calling time on their romance (ITV/REX/Shutterstock)

During her entry interview, Danica admitted she doesn't see the other girls as competition, insisting she was very "self-assured".

"I don’t really see competition, I am a very self assured girl, I know myself, I know what I bring to the table and there are stunning girls in that Villa but I back myself. There’s obviously going to be competition because there are guys in there that I like that are already interested in other girls but I have no fear that I won’t be able to turn heads and I am happy to step on a few toes," she said.

But things have been tough for her as she was initially rejected by Luca and Andrew, before turning her attention to Jay, who also decided he didn't like her in that way. Josh has now seemingly cooled things off for her again too.
