Love Island ’s Anton Danyluk was tested over his partner Belle Hassan’s real name, and he almost got it wrong.
In Saturday’s Unseen Bits episode, the boys gasped as Anton failed to recall what the blonde stunner’s full name was.
Anton hesitated before thankfully giving the correct answer, while the boys initially mocked him as he clearly forgot.
But viewers had no idea she had a different name, with it confirmed Belle was short for “Bellice”.
While Belle is often shortened for Belinda, Isabel or Isabella, it is also short for the islander’s fairly unusual moniker.
The origin of the name is not clear, while Belice is a river in western Sicily.
Viewers confessed they had no idea of the islander’s true name, taking to Twitter during Unseen Bits to comment.
One fan said: “To be fair I thought Belle was just called Belle.”
Others shared this opinion, while some were more interested in the fact the boys told Anton how Belle pulled him and not the other way round.
Meanwhile, fans are predicting fresh drama for the pair after Anton appeared to give a shopkeeper his number in a recent episode.
The fallout of Belle being told will air on Sunday, after Tommy Fury revealed the moment to his own partner Molly-Mae Hague.
While plenty of fans defended Anton claiming it was a joke, others guessed things could be over for the couple depending on her reaction.
One couple will be eliminated from the show in the coming days, so will Anton and Belle manage to survive the vote?
