Love Island fans desperate for Casa Amor drama as they slam ‘dull’ 2021 series

Love Island viewers were not impressed with Tuesday’s episode of the ITV2 dating series.

Fans tuning in were desperate for TV bosses to introduced the Casa Amor segment sooner rather than later.

Cast Amor is another villa that the boys are usually sent to for a few days, where they meet a new batch of girls.

Meanwhile, the girls remain in the original villa and are introduced to some new boys too as loyalty on both sides is seriously tested.

Of course, this is usually met with plenty of drama as the boys may end up walking back into the main villa with a new woman on their arm.

Equally, any of the girls could have their heads turned too - so it makes for some pretty uncomfortable viewing and fans absolutely love it.

Taking to Twitter during Tuesday’s episode, one person tweeted: “These lot are discussing anniversary dates already. Please hurry up Casa Amor #LoveIsland.”

Another viewer moaned: "this season is so dead why am i here every night at 9 please #loveisland."

And a third tweeted: "This ep really disappointed me, I really thought the show could not get any more boring #LoveIsland."

It seems viewers were particularly unimpressed with Brad and Lucinda, who went on their first date together.

In fact, one person was so not looking forward to it that they turned over and tweeted: "Brad and Lucinda on a date? Time to change the channel #LoveIsland."

However, the drama picked up towards the end of Tuesday's episode as the group were told to gather by the fire pit.

Viewers at home had been voting for their new favourite pair since Monday's re-coupling and it looked like one was about to be dumped.

As some of the Islanders received texts and read out the couples that were safe, three remained: Brad and Lucinda, Chloe and Toby, and Sharon and Hugo.

The group were then told that whoever had the least votes would be the ones deciding who should be dumped.

As the three couples realised just how much power the least compatible couple would have, the reality of what was happening sunk in.

As Brad and Lucinda's names were read out, the pair looked gutted as it was confirmed that they would have to make the very difficult decision.

Many fans were quick to predict that Brad will choose to go home as they don't think he is overly keen on Lucinda.

"Don’t want brad to go home for Lucinda she is going to forget him he better not sacrifice himself #LoveIsland," one posted.

Another claimed: "Brad is obviously going home but if Lucinda really likes him she should go as well really #loveisland."

Love Island continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2.
