Love Island viewers were left cringing during the annual reunion on Sunday night after Lacey Edwards and Deji Adeniyi shared an update on their romantic situation.
The pair left the villa together last month after viewers voted them off for being 'the least compatible' couple.
Casa Amor bombshell Lacey only had eyes for Deji from the beginning, and just as their relationship started to heat up, the pair were dumped from the island.
However, during their exit interviews, both Lacey and Deji insisted that they were keen on making things work on the outside.
Two weeks after they departed the ITV show, it became pretty clear during the reunion that things have turned sour between the former flames.
As Aftersun co-host Darren Harriott approached Lacey and Deji to quiz them on the progression of their love story, viewers could almost hear a pin drop in the studio as things got awkward at a rapid speed.
Darren said: "You guys look good together. You still going strong?"
To which an awkward Deji replied: "Yeah, I mean, obviously... we've both been very busy so, she's obviously pissed I haven't taken her on a first date kind of thing."
"What are you doing? Get your act together," Darren clapped back before Lacey offered up some home truths.
The riled-up bombshell slammed Deji for his lack of interest as she hit out at his behaviour since the pair were booted from the show.
"You make time for people if you want to, right?" Lacey savagely replied.
Darren then asked Lacey if it was 'hard' to date someone like Deji, 'who is famously known for wanting problems'.
To which she replied: "At the moment, he's giving me problems. It's been so different since coming out of the villa. It was so intense in the villa, and we both really are two very chill people.
"I think maybe we're both being too chill right now."
Following their awkward interview, viewers flocked to Twitter to have their say.
"OMG! Lacey is hating Deji. Seems like he really aired her since they left," one tweeted.
"Shame Deji and Lacey haven't worked out. I loved them together. How cringe," another echoed.
"My god that was the most cringe part from this TERRIBLE reunion show. Deji is too fly to settle down with one woman though!!! Let the man live," someone else quipped.
