Love Island fans convinced Georgia Steel is returning to show after cryptic post

Some Love Island fans are convinced Georgia Steel could be about to make a return to the ITV2 dating show, as the Love Island 2019 start date fast approaches.

Fans have been told very little about series 5 of the popular series, while rumours have begun to circulate over the new batch of islanders heading to the villa.

On Sunday, one of last year’s contestants Georgia took to Instagram to tease a new project she has lined up.

But she sent Love Island fans into a spin with her comment on the post, leading to some predicting a return to the villa could be on the cards.

Love Island drops major hint about show return

While it isn’t likely that Georgia would be lined up as an islander again, with no one having re-done the series before, it didn’t stop fans speculating on her Instagram profile.

Georgia posted a stunning snap of her posing in a bikini on the beach, sparking a flurry of comments from fans who were loving her look.

But it’s her comment about being on a particular island, Mallorca, that got a bigger reaction, and led to suspicion of a return.

Georgia Steel was a contestant on Love Island 2018 (ITV)

She said: “Mid shooting for something very exciting back at the island where it all began.”

It was followed by a heart emoji as well as a superstar emoji, completed by a final one of a metal link.

Sharing their suspicions, one viewer said: “ “Hope you do Love Island again if you want to.”

Another said: “Is she going back?” as others worked out she was referring to Mallorca, where Love Island is filmed.

A third asked her: “Are you gonna be on new Love Island babe? Or you just happen to be around…”

Others shared their hopes of a return, as others weren’t so sure she would be able to make a comeback.

Love Island is tipped to launch on Monday June 3rd, while this is yet to be officially confirmed.
