Love Island fans convinced Amy has a game plan after awkward bed scene with Hugo

Love Island fans are convinced that Amy Day has a game plan after an awkward bed scene with Hugo Hammond.

Despite being an original islander, 24-year-old P.E teacher Hugo hasn't had much luck with the ladies.

After friendzoning Sharon Gaffka and AJ Bunker, Chloe Burrows, his current partner, rejected his advances to move their relationship to the next level, reports Daily Star.

So, when the boys were sent packing to Casa Amor where they were introduced to six new girls, Hugo was particularly eager to get to know them, especially Amy.

During Wednesday night's episode, we see Amy and Hugo getting to know each other, and even sharing a kiss.

The pair started to get closer - or so it seemed (ITV)

Later that night, after they agreed to share a bed together, Amy could be seen laying with her eyes wide open on the night vision cameras as Hugo wrapped his leg over her.

While she didn't appear to be that thrilled to be cosied up with Hugo, the next day in the Beach Hut, she explained: "He, like, cuddled me and I fell asleep.

Amy didn't seem into the cuddle (ITV)

"Normally I need my own place to sleep, but we cuddled and we passed out together and it was really nice."

Fans took to Twitter to comment on the 'awkward' interaction, with one saying: "Amy looks DISGUSTED in that bed next to Hugo, omg free her!!!!!!"

Another commented: Amy wants out of that bed with Hugo."

A third wrote: "Amy laying there repulsed by Hugo cuddling her just for her chance at securing a PLT deal!"

And someone else said: "Amy rethinking her life decisions lying there with Hugo."
