Love Island fans celebrate 'diverse' line-up as 2023 summer singletons announced

Love Island is set to return in just a number of days and bosses have already started teasing the line-up.

Despite the most recent season finishing just two months ago, a whole host of new faces are currently in isolation ahead of their debut next week.

The stunning Majorca villa is back once again and will welcome those hoping to find love, as well as drama as bosses throw bombshell arrivals into the mix and fan favourite events such as movie night.

So far, only several Islanders have been confirmed but fans are already praising bosses for celebrating diversity like never before.

This year, there will also be a major twist as the viewers will be choosing who couples up with who ahead of their arrival into the main villa.

Shortly after the names of Islanders were released, fans flocked to social media to share their joy and they certainly didn't hold back.

"The cast for the new season of Love Island is very attractive," said one.

While a second commented: "Finally we are starting to see some proper diversity on Love Island only took 9 series. Ruchee looks incredible possible one to watch out for."

"Love Island producers really said we're bringing you diversity," gushed a third.

Before another typed: "Yeah, this Love Island lineup ate."

"This years is acc looking diverse for a change #LoveIsland," said another.

Following the news that Tyrique would be on the hunt for love, one joked: "There's always a semi-pro footballer on Love Island!"

Meanwhile, another appeared to notice a similarity between Mitchel Taylor and Luca Bish as they shared a side-by-side image of the pair alongside the caption: "These two have to be related surely #LoveIsland."

First, to be announced was beautician Ruchee Gurung who explained that she believed Love Island was the perfect opportunity to find the right person.

When Tyrique was asked what he'll bring to the villa, he said: "I'll bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty. I don't sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I'm also not afraid to go after what I want."

Elsewhere, Molly Marsh, the daughter of former Coronation Street actress Janet Marsh is hoping to find love.

But could she couple up with George Fensom, who is hoping to "bring the vibe up" for his fellow Islanders?
