Katie Price fans have kickstarted a brand-new petition for her to replace Iain Stirling on Love Island.
The former glamour model, 43, has been keeping her Instagram followers entertained over the past week as she shares her thoughts on the ITV2 reality TV series in a number of opinionated updates.
Now, die-hard fans of the dating show have voiced their thoughts that Katie should be the new narrator because she’s ‘funnier’ than Scottish voiceover professional, Iain Stirling.
After Tuesday night’s explosive instalment of Love Island, Katie took to Instagram to slate the girls in the villa after they raged at fellow islander Hugo Hammond because he confessed that he didn’t find ‘fake’ looking women attractive.
Following his confession, Hugo was targeted by Faye and Sharon who took offensive his preference in women after they claimed they felt pressured into getting fillers due to society’s unrealistic beauty standards.
While many viewers took the girls’ side, the same can’t be said for reality TV queen Katie who told them to ‘get over in’ in a furious rant.
On her Instagram Stories, Katie blasted Sharon and Faye as she tuned into the bombshell episode.
“Get over it girls! Some guys don’t like the fake look, they like the girl next door look,” she fumed.
“If you can’t handle the criticism, then don’t have the work done.”
Katie, who is currently recovering from a string of surgical procedures including a Brazilian bum lift, was supported by fans who were stunned by Sharon and Faye’s reaction.
Taking to Twitter and Instagram, her admirers urged for Katie to be the new voice of reason on Love Island.
“ Katie Price is so right though, and she knows what she’s talking about with all the surgery under her belt. Could she be a new Love Island commentator?” one curious fan suggested.
“Hands up if you think Katie should take over from Iain Stirling as the voice of Love Island,” another teased.
“If ever Iain Stirling stops doing Love Island narration, Katie Price gets my vote for his replacement,” another shared.
Meanwhile, a fourth quipped: “Come on now, Katie Price is clearly the only woman for the job here.”
It comes after Katie recently underwent a Brazilian bum enhancement along with lifts on her lips and eyes, as well as full-body liposuction.
The star flew to Turkey to have the procedures done, but after going under the knife, Katie said she was left her looking like a 'monster' and had grave concerns during her hospital stay.
She told The Sun : “I’ve gone to hell and back, it was horrific. ‘Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie’.
"I just thought, ‘This is it; I’m going to die. I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll.
“I’ve woken up with holes and stitches all over my body and I look like I’ve got cat’s whiskers coming out of my nose and eyes."
Thankfully, Katie is on the mend now and is back in the UK as she continues to recover.
