Love Island fans blast Demi for giving Luke M 'mixed signals' after confession

Love Island viewers were left a little unimpressed with Demi Jones, fresh from her getting to know fellow singleton Luke M.

New bombshell Jamie Clayton made it clear he was interested in getting to know Demi, as well as Shaughna Phillips.

Just a day earlier Demi snogged Luke, with them seeming to be the latest couple in the villa.

While both admitted it was early days, a spanner was thrown into the works when Demi seemed keen to hear new boy Jamie out.

After her heartache when Nas Majeed ditched her in Casa Amor, she vowed not to put all her eggs in one basket this time around.

But this left Luke a little worried as he thought he was about to be pied off again - the third time in weeks.

Demi quickly complicated things though, moments after telling Luke her plans.

While she was enjoying spending time with him, she was open to getting to know Jamie too and would see where things went.

But Luke was left confused and annoyed, when she suddenly leaned in and kissed him.

He accused her to her face of giving him "mixed signals", while she wasn't sure she'd done anything wrong.

Luke then spoke with Luke T and Siannise Fudge about the unfolding drama, with them equally baffled by Demi's decision.

They weren't the only ones either, as viewers took to Twitter over the scenes not entirely on board with it.

One fan commented: " So confused Demi has left bad vibes and mixed signals do not break Luke M heart don't do it."

Another tweeted: "Why are the girls always giving Luke M mixed signals . There is no point with giving Luke false hope by telling him u will get to know Jamie and then u kiss Luke."

A third tweeted: "Stop giving my boy mixed signals."

Some fans disagreed though, calling Luke out for not avoiding the kiss if he thought it was wrong.

One viewer tweeted: "Sorry but it takes two to tango, despite Demi saying seconds before she wants to get to know Jamie, Luke M could’ve stopped the kiss from happening if he found it muggy and mixed signals."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2.
