Love Island fans beg producers for hunky bombshell for Liberty after split from Jake

Jiberty is no more.

Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole were so close to making it through the entire series of Love Island as a couple but sensationally broke up days before the finale.

The couple were once seen as favourites to win the show, but recent weeks have shown there was potential trouble in paradise.

And the dreaded news of their split was confirmed on Thursday as they agreed they would call time on things and go their separate ways.

Fans watched on in dismay in recent shows as they labelled Jake a snake for seemingly faking his feelings towards the blonde bombshell.

And Nando's worker Liberty eventually labelled the pair no good for each other as she removed water engineer Jake's bracelet he gave her when the couple made their relationship official.

With the final just days away, fans of the show are pleading with producers to give 21-year-old Liberty a second chance at love before the curtain comes down on the current series.

Fans flocked to Twitter to put in their request ahead of Monday's end show.

One commented: "I still want Liberty to make it to the finals. Is it too late to send in another bombshell for Liberty? #LoveIsland"

Another wrote: "I beg the producers throw in a bombshell for my gurl liberty #LoveIsland"

And a third put: "SEND IN A MALE BOMBSHELL IMMEDIATELY!!! #LoveIsland"

A fourth even questioned the prospect of Liberty winning the show as a solo act. They tweeted: "Pls can liberty win by herself or there be a bombshell come in and they win together #LoveIsland."

However, there are fears that both Liberty and Jake are set to walk away from the villa before the "closing ceremony".

Fans are suspecting that one of the pair - or even both - will dramatically leave following their break-up announcement.

In a preview clip for Friday's show, the former lovebirds ask to speak to their pals before saying: "Do you all wanna gather around the fire pit?"

Voiceover Iain Stirling says: "Epic dates lead to epic decisions," while fellow Islander Millie Court is seen to gasp in shock over their announcement.

With so little time left, it remains to be seen if the producers have any more tricks up their sleeves to shock viewers.
