Love Island fans beg Lucie to stop trying to make "bev" happen

Love Island fans have pleaded with Lucie to stop trying to make "bev" happen.

Before she went into the villa Lucie said that she had a strange vocabulary she would be taking into the villa with her.

Lucie calls attractive boys "bevs" and uses variations of this phrase to describe getting intimate with men such as "bevnish"

Her fellow islanders have struggled to cotton on to her phrases, with her current partner Joe attempting to learn some of it.

But viewers at home were not having any of it and begged Lucie to stop using the cringe vocab.

One said: "Bev/Bevvy is a term used to describe an alcoholic drink. That is all. Now brush your hair and stop tryin' to make it catch on."

Another said: "If she carry’s in saying bev/bevy I’m gonna scream. It’s not a word. It will never be a word."

A third said: "All this bev this bevvy that... doesn’t even make sense FFS I don’t even think she knows what it means she’s just throwing it in there whenever."

And a fourth added: "'I'm going to wear something "a little bit bevvy' someone do us a favour and pour a bev over this pillocks head."

*Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 tomorrow
