Love Island fans are desperate to see a shake-up to the show's format as another dumping looms.
The ITV2 show aired dramatic scenes this week as the girls returned from Casa Amor to find some of their partners had recoupled with others. They were also told by the newbies exactly what had happened during their time away and all hell broke loose.
One of the previously strongest couples - Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page - both split up and coupled up with new Islanders, Billy and Coco respectively, and a huge row broke out when Tasha realised what Andrew had been up to.
Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack also had their heads turned by Summer and Deji respectively, leaving their romance in dangerous territory as they called each other a "heartbreaker" on their return to the main villa.
But now fans have been given the power to choose who will be left vulnerable - as a public vote has began, where viewers will choose who is the most compatible and those with the fewest votes will be at risk of leaving.
However, viewers have called for a change or format.
"The public vote ruins the show. Before, we were watching men choose women, and explain why, and women choose men, and explain why. #LoveIsland, was akin to a nature show in this way, and we learned a lot about the other sex. Now it's a rigged setup for attention. Ruined, literally," one fan fumed in a lengthy post, " #LoveIsland none of us watched this show because we wanted to watch people forced to be together. We watched because the thrill was in the organic choice, and why.
" @LoveIsland really hope this changes back in the future. This is unfortunate. Defeats the purpose."
Other fans felt that the whole voting system seemed unfair - as some of the more popular Islanders would bag the vote, rather than it be based on compatibility as it was intended to be.
A second viewer penned: "Do Danica and Josh and Jay and Chyna have enough fans that vote for them? I'm scared they will have less votes than OG boys Andrew and Coco or Dami and Summer #LoveIsland."
"I’m soooo very confused after that episode, there’s ALOT to process. Then they want us to vote for the least compatible couple?!! #confused.com #messy #embaarrassed #LoveIsland," another added.
