Love Island 2019 viewers noticed something bizarre during the launch night episode, as the islanders began using their villa phones.
Each contestant is given their own mobile to use on the show, to receive those famous texts.
From info on challenges, new arrivals, villa dumpings and even mobile chat, the cast get their own device each to use for the duration.
They even take a selfie or 10, all uploaded online to give a glimpse of what goes on within the Mallorca villa walls.
But on Monday night, Joe’s use of his phone led to a discovery.
Viewers noticed that the islander’s lock screen background looked very familiar, and they certainly saw the funny side.
The background was one of the promo shots of him for Love Island, and fans couldn’t handle the fact he was his own screen lock.
Taking to Twitter , viewers shared their observation, with some confessing it made them love Joe even more.
One fan said: “WAIT JOE'S PHONE BACKGROUND IS HIMSELF WHAT A GUYY.”
Another tweeted: “Joe having himself as his phone wallpaper tho.”
A third asked: “Did Joe have himself as his phone lock screen???”
It's not known if all of the phones feature pictures of the islanders, and if Joe even made the decision himself.
Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
