Love Island fans were surprised by their strength of their feelings as the dating show returned after 18 months away from our screens.
As the much-loved summer extravaganza introduced its class of 2021 many viewers said they were feeling weirdly emotional.
Love Island dropped its summer series last year, after a winter edition in South Africa in January 2020, because of coronavirus.

So fans were happy to see it back with a new batch of singletons ready to find love.
And as narrator Iain Stirling explained they were "all quarantined so they can form a sanitised sex bubble."

Viewers took to Twitter to express themselves.
"Nah guys I actually feel mad emotional I might cry. WE ARE BACK," said one.
"Why am I emotional?" tweeted another.
"I’m so emotional," said another fan.

"Why do I feel emotional seeing the villa?" asked another confused viewer.
But another explained: "Now it’s finally back, Nah this is emotional."
"Here we go people! It's been way too long! Bring the emotional rollercoaster!" said another fan.
Another viewer gasped: "Omg the #LoveIsland title theme gave me shivers x"
And another said: "I am actually gonna cry at how excited I am about #LoveIsland being back!! This is perfect airport entertainment."
Other viewers admired the TV villa set in Mallorca which has had a revamp for 2021.
"The villa looks so good," said one.
"Actually so ready for #LoveIsland this year, if I can’t go on holiday I can at least live vicariously through the TV for an hour every night," another tweeted.
"Summer has been restored," cheered another.
