Love Island fans 'alarmed and confused' as couple go missing from villa

ITV viewers have claimed one couple isn't being given enough airtime on Love Island as fans demanded bosses show more of the two Islanders.

The tension is hotting up in the villa as Love Island prepares to dish out the toughest challenge yet with the arrival of Casa Amor.

However, fans have hit out at the ITV show for not giving Scott Van Der Sluis and Catherine Agbaje enough airtime.

The Irish beauty and football player started getting close two weeks and their connection has grown ever since.

Love Island viewers claimed the couple were barely being show on screen until tensions arose between Scott and the rest of the boys.

On Thursday, the boys accused Scott of "playing a game" behind his back.

One frustrated fan tweeted: "'Why are they giving Catherine and Scott airtime just when they are involved in drama and people are talking about them?? Hm."

"So decides to give Catherine and Scott airtime when people are questioning their relationship? Interesting. Why can't they show us their happy times," another wrote.

A third added: "The only time Catherine and Scott get airtime is when they're being painted in a bad light by other islanders. Producers it's me and you at this point."

Another concerned viewer shared: "Can they show more Catherine and Scott? They are going to struggle to get votes if they aren't given airtime."

"So instead of giving scott and catherine airtime to show their 'chemistry' they're bringing out this storyline??? ok," a fifth fumed.

Meanwhile, it's almost time for Casa Amor and show bosses have promised even more twists and turns than expected.

When asked about Casa Amor by the Mirror and other reporters, a show boss said: “We never say if Casa Amor is back but I think things will be a little different this year. Hopefully we’ll keep people on their toes and you won’t expect it.”

Viewers are convinced Molly will make a dramatic return to the ITV2 show after being brutally axed on Friday.

The Mirror can reveal Molly has not remained in the UK as expected and has now flown back to Spain but, will she be making a surprise reappearance in the villa?
