Love Island fans accuse girls of deliberately stirring drama between Islanders

Love Island viewers wanted drama in the villa, and they certainly got it.

But they're actually not fully on board with some Islanders in the villa, who they claim are deliberately sparking tension in the villa.

A first look teaser showed Sophie Piper and Leanne Amaning advising Siannise Fudge not to give up on hopes of a romance with new boy Connagh Howard.

But some viewers saw their behaviour as "catty" claiming they were just trying to cause drama for new girl Rebecca Gormley, who was talking with the Islander at the time.

Not only that, some fans believed they were being out of order to their so-called pal, with viewers convinced they were setting her up as Connagh didn't appear to like her that much.

Taking to Twitter , one fan commented: "Why are Sophie and Leanne gassing [Siannise] up like that."

Another said: "Sophie the Stirrer woww."

A third agreed: "To me it seems like Sophie just wants to see drama, don’t like her at all right now."

This was echoed by another fan who said: "ok after watching the preview I see that Leanne and Sophie are just giving [Siannise] bad advice. Like I don't like her too but let's not be that catty right?"

But they weren't the only ones accused of deliberately sparking drama, with new girl Rebecca also under fire.

One fan said: "What the hell. Why is Rebecca stirring. Telling Connagh that Sophie kissed Connor. What is she getting out of that? Horrible snake!"

Another tweeted: "Rebecca stirring the s**t already, sit down & shut up hun you only been in there 5mins."

That said, several viewers continued to welcome the drama after what had been a pretty tame start to the winter series.

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2.
