Love Island fans have hit out at Danny for the way he's treated Lucinda, accusing him of "gaslighting" her.
At the end of Monday's episode, Danny had called things off with Lucinda, saying she should have been nicer to him as he makes her a coffee every morning.
It had come after he had criticised her in front of the whole group during a Snog, Marry or Pie challenge, refusing to kiss her or 'marry' her because she wasn't talking to him.
His behaviour during the episode was slammed by viewers on Twitter, who said Lucinda had a lucky escape.
During the challenge, Danny had chosen to throw a pie in Lucinda's face and kissed AJ, despite being coupled up with Lucinda.

She was left red-faced but he seemed happy with what he'd done, as he laughed and said: "Treat them mean to keep them keen."
But it seemed to have the opposite effect as Lucinda was furious and later kissed Aaron.
At the end of the episode, Lucinda and Danny went for a chat and decided to end their coupling.
She asked him for his "reasoning behind that challenge" and Danny told her: "I'm not the type of kid to like... chase you like a little dog.

"I knock you down a couple of pegs, have a bit of banter with you.
"I said to the boys, obviously I'm making you coffee every morning, you know I fancy you, you know I like you, I wouldn't have picked you if you didn't.
"You're giving nothing back to me. I'm not asking you to come and give me a kiss, I'm asking you to come and ask me if I'm alright, just off your own back.
"I can sense you gravitating towards Aaron more than me."

He then asked her if she just saw them as friends, and she explained that she wasn't happy that he'd kissed AJ.
Danny confessed that he kissed someone else to see if she'd get jealous, as he had been jealous when Aaron tried to kiss her.
They both agreed to just be friends as they didn't like how serious their relationship was getting.
After the chat, Danny went to crack on with AJ and Lucinda said she was looking forward to getting to know Aaron better.

Viewers rushed to Twitter to slam Danny's behaviour, with one tweeting: "Danny was being so emotionally manipulative. I can imagine if that went on any longer there would be OFCOM complaints of gaslighting."
"Danny is actually scaring me, the gaslighting, the manipulation, I can't watch it," another posted.
A third said: "Danny is gaslighting this whole situation. Get him out that villa NOW."
The Mirror has contacted ITV and is awaiting comment.
