Love Island fan spots epic editing blunder as Faye's head 'goes missing'

One eagle-eyed Love Island fan has slammed the ITV2 dating show for some alleged dodgy editing.

In a clip shared on TikTok, Islander Faye Winter's head seems to disappear and then double as she walks down some steps towards the swimming pool at the Spanish villa.

Taking to the popular social media platform, the user named @kendallhntee shared the moment several times - even in slow motion.

The video was captioned: "Another editing mistake love island," followed by the laughing face emoji.

The TikTok video has already been liked 57,000 times and sparked plenty of comments and debate about how the popular television show is edited.

One user claimed: "That's a mirror to hide the camera. She just walked behind it."

Another said: "probably to hide a camera location," and a third added: "It's just like a copy paste of another area of the frame to mask something that's there like a camera."

Someone else joked: "The editor needs to be fired this year," while another said: "careless editing this year."

The editing blunder comes just days after viewers were left baffled as another Islander, Kaz Kamwi, magically appeared "out of nowhere" mid-scene.

As Liam Reardon, Hugo Hammond, and former islander Aaron Francis sat on a day bed and discussed the shock double dumping of AJ Bunker and Danny Bibby, Kaz was nowhere to be seen.

However, as the camera cut to a different angle, Kaz suddenly appeared lying between the boys - in what was clearly a continuity blunder.

It comes after it was confirmed that Sunday night's episode is going to be 20 minutes longer than usual as the Casa Amor drama continues.

Liam will be trying his best to get back in Millie's good books, while Kaz will confront Tyler over his actions with Clarisse.

Fans will also want to catch up with Faye and Teddy, after she brutally ditched him for new boy Sam thinking he'd been unfaithful in Casa Amor.

Teddy revealed he'd stayed loyal and even comforted Faye after she burst into tears - could we see them getting back together?

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
