Love Island faces 'fix' claims as Amber and Greg win despite major issue

Love Island is facing 'fix' claims after Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were crowned winners.

The couple received the most votes from the public - beating favourites Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague.

They went home with £25,000 each after Greg received the envelope with the winnings and decided to split the money.

However, some furious viewers were outraged after the winning couple were announced by presenter Caroline Flack.

They could not believe that Irishman Greg had won the show despite being in the villa for less than two weeks.

Another added: "Not happy, Greg’s been in 2 minutes. FIX!!"

"What an absolute fix that was #LoveIsland what a joke your show is," said a third.

Describing her experience, Amber said: "Oh my god. Absolutely wild. Roller coaster of emotion. Absolutely mad."

Referring to her split from Michael Griffiths, she added: "I had that period of time that was just awful and I thought it was over for us.

Turning to Greg, she said: "Then you came in."

During her interview, Molly-Mae admitted she never expected to stay longer than a few days.

When asked about 'faking' her emotions, she said: "It is hard to hear that. I don’t know what they’re seeing that's making them feel that. In the villa it's so real. It's hard hearing that.

"I know how I feel, he knows how I feel, the Islanders know how I feel. As long As he knows how I feel I'm sorry I don't care what anyone else thinks.

"I am genuine and he believes me. It does frustrate me."
