Love Island ends on dumping cliffhanger as Islanders forced to save one contestant

Love Island ended on an epic cliffhanger tonight. The episode that aired on Tuesday, June 13, saw a recoupling with a twist as two Islanders were left at risk of being dumped.

As news of a recoupling hit the villa the contestants lined up around the firepit as a text read: "Tonight there will be a recoupling where the boys will pick which girls they would like to couple up with. The girls not picked to be in a couple will be left single and vulnerable."

However, the recoupling came with a twist, as new bombshells Leah Taylor and Charlotte Sumner were given the opportunity to choose who they would like to couple up with first. Leah chose Tyrique Hyde, who is currently coupled up with Ella Thomas, a move that earned a gasp from Whitney Adebayo.

Next, Charlotte picked Zachariah Noble, despite his recent kiss with Molly Marsh. Fortunately for Molly, she was saved by Mitchel Taylor who coupled up with her despite the pair recently friend zoning their relationship.

The recoupling then went on to see André Furtado and Catherine Agbaje couple up, while Mehdi Edno and Whitney stayed together following their date and Sammy Root chose Jess Harding. It meant that Ella and Ruchee Gurung were left single and vulnerable.

Ella then read out a text that said: "Ruchee and Ella, you are now both single and your place in the villa is at risk."

The rest of the group then received a text that read: "Islanders, you will now decide which single girl should be saved. The girl not chosen will be dumped from the Island immediately." The episode then went straight to credits with ITV2 viewers left on a cliffhanger.
