Love Island ended on yet another cliff-hanger last night after shocking twist

Viewers were yet again left baffled after another twist during last night's (July 13) episode with one person set to be dumped from the villa.

Throughout the show, fans had been voting for who they thought was the most 'compatible couple' leaving the couple with the least amount of votes at risk of being dumped.

Well...that wasn't the case at all.

After the Islanders received the news of who the highest rated couple was, three couples remained - Lucinda Strafford & Brad McClelland, Hugo Hammond & Sharon Gaffka and Chloe Burrows & Toby Aromolaran.

In the end, Lucinda and Brad who were deemed the least compatible by fans, but instead of packing their suitcases, it'll only be one of them leaving – decided between themselves.

Dun dun dunnnnn...

The brutal twist shocked viewers and the Islanders, leaving a cliff-hanger over everyone's head until the drama continues tonight.

Former winner Amber was among those who were baffled by what went on, with her initially tweeting: "So the couple with the fewest votes is safe? That twist is not twisting. So why ask us to vote!?!?!"

After getting clarification, she then added:

Fans now think despite one of them having to leave the villa, they should both leave as a couple.

What did you think of the twist And who will leave?

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2.
