It was short-lived for Leeds lad Tom Walker in the Love Island villa after the 29-year-old was dumped by his fellow islanders in Thursday night's show.
The brutal dumping saw the public vote for their favourite three couples who were then given the task of choosing the two housemates to pack their bags and leave.
Tom, a model from Leeds, first appeared on the show 10 days before his dramatic exit, coupling up with Maura Higgins after a successful first date on his arrival.
Arabella Chi was the other islander to be dumped after host Caroline Flack shocked viewers by entering the villa to deliver the bombshell news.
Tom's time in the villa wasn't without drama. 28-year-old Maura had ended things with him earlier in the episode over comments he'd made behind her back.
Speaking after the show, Tom said: "We knew something was going to happen," he said.
"Caroline hadn’t dropped in for a while. But I thought maybe some new guys were coming in.
'I didn’t see a dumping like that coming'
"I thought it was between me and Danny when it came to it."
