Love Island drops voting bombshell as couples torn apart - but fans are confused

Love Island viewers have been given the option to vote out two islanders, with two couples at risk of being dumped from the villa this week.

But in a twist, the fans have to vote singularly and cannot save both islanders from any one couple.

Anton Danyluk and Elma Pazar and Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt are all up for the vote, after being deemed the least compatible couples on the show.

Now the public must choose who goes and who stays, except they can only vote for either Lucie or Joe, and either Anton or Elma to stay.

This means, if two people go, one from each couple will leave for good.

If only one islander is leaving out of the four, it could be any one of them given the public have to vote separately and not save their favourite couple.

Taking to Twitter , fans were loving the twist, but many viewers confessed they were a little confused over what it meant.

One viewer said: “So are two islanders going home tomorrow or just one?! I’m confused.”

Others echoed this, while many others predicted who would be most at risk out of the foursome.

A viewer tweeted after the show: “ONE ISLANDER FROM EACH COUPLE OH S**T… bye Joe.”

Another agreed: “Vote for one islander from each couple...you know what to do UK.”

A third commented: “Omg yes it’s one person from each couple!!”

This was echoed by another fan who said: “Glad we’re saving one from each couple.”

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
