Love Island drama as islander booted out of villa after just 48 hours

Love Island has got off to a dramatic start with one of the eleven islanders being booted out of the villa a mere 48 hours after entering.

Tuesday night's episode of the hit ITV2 show was left on a cliff hanger much to the annoyance of viewers, as Chloe Burrows prepared to let the islanders know which man she had chosen to steal and couple up with.

The move will leave one of the original girls flying solo but before Chloe could reveal her pick the tense scenes ended.

A teaser clip for tonight's episode showed the islanders reacting in shock as they processed the announcement.

It's now been revealed that following the decision one islander has already been evicted, the Mirror Online reports.

This is the earliest a contestant has ever left the show.

Producers are hoping to get the series off to a turbulent start and show the islanders that nobody is safe.

In previous years the islanders have had a week to settle in to their new couples before the first dumping on day six.

However, it's all change this year with bosses wanting to keep the line-up on their toes from the off.

Viewers will see the fallout from Chloe's decision air in tonight's episode which promises to be full of twists and turns.

In the teaser for Tuesday's episode, Iain Stirling announced 'Someone is in for a shock' as a text message alert rang out.

The islanders were then seen with their mouths agape in surprise.

Ahead of the explosive preview, Chloe was seen standing before her co-stars at the fire pit as she confessed she fell for the man she was about to steal as soon as she laid eyes on him.

"I've chosen this boy to couple up with because when I first saw him I thought he was absolutely gorgeous.

She gushed: "Even though we've not spent much time together at all, the time we did spend, I thought was just so fab."

Contestants Aaron, Jake and Brad are in Chloe's sight as she was seen pulling each of the men over for individual chats to get to know them better.

Jake's partner Liberty confessed to the girls that she was feeling 'nervous' leading up to the re-coupling as she'd fallen for the water engineer.
