Student Niamh Curtin found herself in actual tears over Islander Ovie's reaction to George getting the boot.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this - unless you've just recently had a spray tan, which Niamh, 18, had.
Luckily, Niamh, from Plymouth, saw the funny side and offered others some comic relief from the high-octane emotional drama by sharing photos of her ruined spray tan.
Posting the pictures on Twitter , people saw two very pronounced tear streaks.
She captioned the brilliant photos, saying: "Don’t ever get sad at love island after having a spray tan. Oh my days can we just take a minute please."
Niamh then tweeted Ovie’s account, and said: "All ur fault, was all teary after ur bromance with George."
Having had her tan applied in the morning, Niamh was watching the show in catch-up when tears - and disaster - struck.
Catching her reflection in the mirror, Niamh then ran upstairs to show her parents who couldn't stop laughing.
After sharing on Twitter, other users found it hilarious too.
"This didn't just make my day, it made my year." one wrote.
One fan even pointed out: "It looks like a piece of art."
There's an important lesson here for all of us.
