Love Island 2018 winners: Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham win this year's series

The winner of Love Island 2018 has finally been revealed.

After two months of huge breakups, dramatic recouplings and hideaway, er, snuggling, the British public have crowned Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham as the victorious couple to walk away with £50,000.

The news was announced by host Caroline Flack during a live finale in which Laura Anderson and Paul Knops finished as runners-up in second place.

Earlier in the evening, Flack revealed that Kazimir Crossley and Josh Denzel had finished third with Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson finishing in fourth place.

In addition to winning the series, Jack and Dani have also been the most discussed couple on social media throughout with the ITV2 series amassing over 11.5m tweets in all.

Laura's Love Island journey especially has been a tumultuous one having been linked to two other contestants - Wes and Jack Fowler - before finding romance with Paul.

Love Island will return to ITV2 in 2019 - here's how you can apply.
