Love Island Curtis' brother AJ Pritchard was in tears over his struggles in villa

Curtis Pritchard’s mum has admitted that his family have cried watching him struggle while in the Love Island villa.

The ballroom dancer has had a rollercoaster time while on the reality dating show, and his family have now admitted watching every move and emotion of his closely.

During a discussion with his parents who were visiting the villa last week, Curtis’ mum admitted that seeing him experiencing unhappy moments had affected his brother AJ, who had been reduced to tears.

She said: “When you’ve cried, we’ve cried and cried and cried. And AJ has cried.”

Curtis was left dumbstruck after learning that his family had cried watching him on Love Island (ITV)

Curtis’ dad interjects: “Yeah, that was traumatic”.

While neither parent specifies what exactly led to them breaking down in tears watching Curtis, it is clear that the family have been fully emotionally invested in this series.

As the conversation progresses, Curtis’ mum admits that the entire Pritchard clan was left in hysterics when he wore a pair of pink hot pants during the ‘dirty dancing’ challenge.

Curtis was visited by his mum and dad who revealed they have recorded every episode of Love Island (ITV)

She said: “We were rolling round the floor screaming with laughter!"

Curtis has been on the emotional rollercoaster since entering the villa eight weeks ago.

From breaking Amy’s heart to finding himself in a love-triangle with Maura and Francesca, Curtis’ time in the villa will be nothing short of memorable.

While he eventually chose Maura as his girlfriend, the relationship has been far from smooth, with the pair having a number of on and off screen arguments.

Fans are still hopeful that Curtis will reach out to Amy and rekindle the romance now they are all back in the real world.
