Love Island couples sleep outside leaving Kaz Kamwi and Hugo Hammond in the cold

Love Island’s romances are turning up a notch - but it’s leaving others out in the cold.

After last week’s antics saw Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows decide to crack on with each other, the pair are now waiting for their opportunity to become an official couple.

But it turns out that sharing a bed with other people is too much to take for one more night - and alongside Millie Court and Liam Reardon, they decide to spend a night on the day beds.

On tonight’s episode, the two hot new villa couples take it outside for a romantic evening under the stars.

“I feel like a kid who has been let out to play. I haven’t felt like this,” Toby said of his evening with Chloe.

Chloe later joked: “I’ve never known a boy to get so excited!”

The move will come as a major blow for Kaz Kamwi, who until two days ago was getting closer to Toby, and Hugo Hammond, who coupled up with Chloe at the last ceremony to remain on the show with her as friends.

While Toby told Kaz on Friday that he was going to pursue a romance with Chloe, having her sleep alone will come as a bitter pill to swallow for someone who made no secret of liking the semi-pro footballer.

But while Toby and Chloe’s relationship continues to rock the boat with their respective couples, Millie and Liam are going from strength-to-strength.

Liam is currently coupled up with Faye Winter, but declares he’s completely moving on from her as he works harder to graft with new girl Millie.

They later share their first kiss in the villa outside of a challenge.

“It’s nice to do something about the connection we’re feeling,” Millie tells the Beach Hut.

“It was a good snog and I can’t wait to snog him some more.”

Liam later adds: “It was a nice kiss, sexual tension there. I’m looking forward to sharing a bed with her.”

But how’s Faye going to deal with it?

As all of this is going on, tensions are set to rise again with the arrival of new boy Teddy Soares - who gets to go on four speed dates with the ladies to try and find a connection.

Kaz, Rachel Finni, Faye Winter and Sharon Gaffka are the lucky ladies who get to take some time together, and they need to think fast.

At the end of the episode, another recoupling ceremony looms - with the boys in charge of who to couple up with this time round.

The girl who is left single at the end, is immediately dumped from the island and will need to go home.

With nearly all the couples having their rocky moments this week, will there be some shocks in store? And who will Teddy save from the brink of being dumped?

Not too much longer to find out.

*Love Island continues tonight at 10pm on ITV2.
