Love Island couple dumped from villa tonight as Islanders forced to choose who leaves

Love Island airs big scenes on Monday, ahead of the return of former Islander Adam Collard.

Two couples remain at risk of being dumped from the villa after a public vote, and in the next episode one of these couples will leave.

It seems they have already left the villa, after the twist began on Sunday night's episode.

The Islanders who are already safe from the vote will be tasked with deciding which couple leaves for good, and which couples stays.

The two pairings facing the chop are Jay Younger and Chyna Mills, and Dami Hope and Summer Botwe.

As events kick off, the Islanders receive a text which reveals: "Which couple is saved and which couple is dumped will be decided by your fellow Islanders."

Both couples are then asked to make their way to the sundeck as the remaining Islanders deliberate on who they’d like to save, and who will be dumped.

Viewers will have to tune in on Monday night to find out who is going home and who has been saved by their co-stars.

There is bound to be tears, as both Dami and Jay are popular in the villa - while both girls haven't been on the show for long, both arriving in Casa Amor.

Some viewers were surprised over the result of the public vote, that left both couples in the bottom two.

Dami had caused outrage during Casa Amor, but so had Andrew Le Page and Jacques O'Neill.

Andrew was third lowest with Coco Lodge in the vote, but fans didn't understand why Jay and Chyna got less votes than him - despite the pair calling it quits.

Equally, fans didn't expect Jay to be in the bottom over Jacques, given his own behaviour sparked backlash with viewers during Casa Amor.

Taking to Twitter as the results came in, one fan said: "This is a fix. I expected to see Jacques and Paige at the bottom but wtaf is going on?!"

Another said: "paige and jacques over jay and chyna? this episode done p****d me off."

A third tweeted: "i’m sorry but how did jay and chyna who didn’t do anything wrong get less votes than ANDREW AND JACQUES???????? this doesnt sit right with me."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
